Painting went well today. I was pretty much finished by 10, but then
someone pointed out that I'd miss-spelled “scolaire” as
“scholaire” so I painted over it and I'll go back tomorrow to
finish that last bit. The white paint is super thick, helpful for
covering mistakes, but even in Burkina heat it takes a few hours to
fully dry on the textured wall and I had no desire to sit around and
wait, since by then I would be in the mid-day sun. I biked home, made
lunch, and sat around, read, and caught up with friends – a perfect
afternoon.
